Target signs suddenly missing

Featured Replies

Hello!

At first, I have to excuse for my bad english, but none of the german forums had a solution... so I'm trying here:

I run Microsoft Flight on Windows 8, so far without any Problems. Now I found that in every mission (challenges etc.) the yellow target signs have been lost. I can't see them anymore. For example, in the attached picture I show the wedding party mission. You can see the yellow sign showing you, where the ship is located. In other missions they are pointed to the right runway, the observatory and so on.

Now, flight doesn't show these target signs any more. Any idea what happened?

I tried a reinstallation, but without success.

Go to %AppData%\Microsoft\Flight and open FLIGHT.CFG with Editor or Wordpad.

Search for

[PointOfInterestSystem]

VisibleSetting=1

Replace the 1 with 0 and you`ll have the markers back.

Thanks, that's it! Great!

How could that be changed without editing the CFG File? Are there other tweaks known in that CFG File?

Start Flight,

Select: Options,

Select: Gameplay,

And under Display: Check Point of Interest.

I believe that should do it, B)

Nope, there are 2 different Markers. The one in the cfg will remove/activate all of them permanentely.

The one in the options will remove the POI but not the destination marker.

Thanks for clarifying that Heimi, I had assumed, my error. Well my day is over, I like to learn at least one new thing a day. lol

Thanks again, and to all a good day!
