I have been flying microsoft simulator programs for a number of years.

I have purchased a new computer and am now flying FSX.

I am having a problem with setting elevator trim. I have the left hand button on my Saitek yoke assigned for a up and down.

I have tried in FSX settings controls to adjust the slider in all three positions but it seems to adjust irratically.

If I watch the trim wheel during adjustment, the wheel turns slowly and then begins turning quickly.

 

Can anyone give me some info on what to do here?
