Featured Replies

Hi, I just Bought the SF260. I seem to have some Stutter Problems that seems to be sinchronized with the sound every time I TO. The Stutter keeps on going all the time.It is not dependent of FPS, but I do notice some slight jump here and there in the numbers.I have tried to fly it with all sliders to min... Same problemI have done a search everywhere and there is no description available. Can somebody help me finding the solution?FS93.2 Ghrtz1024 RAMWinXPGforce 5950 256 RAM

HiI have the SF260 with no problems on my P4 3.2.It flies smoothly and is fantastic, have you tried up-dating your sound drivers?Your problem has to be within your own setup.Good luckBob Wright

You could run dxdiag and set Hardware Sound Acceleration Level to Basic. This often cures or reduces sound related stutters. I have the SF260 and it flies very smoothly, but it is more demanding than a lot of other aircraft and can expose problems with your system.David

I have a marginal system for FS9 (P3, 1.0 Ghz with 512 Mb) but found the SF260 is no more of a burden than the default aircraft.BlairCYOW

I noticed a slowdown in texture loading but after setting TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=400 the problem disappeared. I guess it depends on your settings. I have things pretty much maxxed out, so a little extra burden can show up. Anyhow, it's one of my favorite planes.David

That's odd, maybe the install is corrupt or something. Try reinstalling. With that system you should be able to run this plane no problem. The SF260 has a great model, but it is easier on frames than many other planes around now.

Did all that suggested...It seems to be as smooth now as people report.Drivers were up to date. I increased the Texture bandwith also, but I think that the feature that made the trick was the Mipmapping inside FS9 I had it Maxed out, didn't notice until I went to my settings and found it.I think is solved, but I still have to run more test, just to be sure. Thanks again.
