Rain around the plane is gone with DX-10 turn ON

Featured Replies

Hi

Im having some problems when i turn ON the 'DirectX 10',theres no rain around the plane, its like theres a umbrella.

If i turned it OFF the problem is gone but i need the Directx turned ON because if not i have nothing but problems with PMDG planes.

Im using the Directx 11 version so i dont know if that makes any difference or not,is there a way around this to fix this problem?

I have a picture

You should never have DX10 selected in FSX. See this thread here: http://forum.avsim.n...f-all-settings/

If i dont have DX10 selected in FSX i have to many problems with the PMDG planes.

Cockpit textures that disapears,it freezes when i minimize to desktop.

The umbrella effect using DX10 is known. Therefor there is shader fix and further improvement documented in detail in the "how-to" doc. Works fine and really worth to use it.
