January 1, 201313 yr Can anyone tell me how low the oil quantity needs to become before I get some kind of warning or active failure? I am using the B737-800 wl models with "Low oil qty reverse" selected and fail-op engine autoland setup (wouldn't think that mattered). I am using quarts instead of percentages and currently have 14 quarts in the left and only 6 quarts in the right with no visible or audible warnings! In RW I would never takeoff if more than 2 quarts low on either side. How is this to be serviced in the NGX? A full service maintenance is the only selection I can find and that would initialize the maintenance failure clock, wouldn't it? I can find nothing of merit mentioned in the forum on this matter. I know how this is handled real world but how is this set up to be simulated?
