"Modules" pull-down menu gone in FS9...

Featured Replies

I've been doing some cleanup in FS9, although haven't touched anything in the Modules folder (only the Aircraft folder). Obviously I've screwed soemthing up :), I still have FSUIPC (registered) and AS2004 residing in my modules folder but somehow I can't access it from within FS9. Does anybody have any ideas on how I can get it back? I always thought that just installing FSUIPC was all the was required to get access to the Modules menu in FS9, but maybe not. Thanks for any help, I'd really appreciate it.Bruce.

Hi,This is a real weird problem. As far as I know the module folder is actually part of the FSUIPC.dll. Why don't you reload another copy of the dll and see what happens.Ed

Hi Ed,Thanks- I don;t know what I did :), I ahd both purged my "Aircraft" folder of unwanted files, then added the new FSUIPC.DLL that came with the recent AS2004 beta (although I doubt it was that, which is why I haven't pursued that further). After this occurred, I noted that the file FSUIPC.DLL had a truncated name, then when I fixed the name (thinking this was all that was wrong), many other DLL files appeared not to load as I started FS9 and got many errors.I actually re-installed FS9, which is a blessing in disguise- everything runs faster now with all my preferred updates and aircraft loaded. Wierd! Thanks for your post.Bruce.
