PFC's Jetliner Yoke

Featured Replies

Looking to purchase their yoke (PFC - jetliner yoke) to work with FS 2004 and currently I have go-flight panels - some feedback would be good prior to purchase as it is very expensive for the freight from the US to Australia.:-wave Any idea how well it works etc....

Hi Jim,works very well, one of the best investments I ever did for FS. The weight on the elevator and aileron axis makes a big difference regarding that big jet "feeling". It's also very reliable.Indeed, the shipping costs are a pain.Michael

Hi Michael,Thanks for responding, yes the shipping costs to Australia are a put off but never the less I am still interested in purchasing.Do you reside in Australia or the US of A.RegardsJim

Hi Jim,I'm in Germany. PFC has a German distributor, which is good is any warranty cases. But besides the shipping and custom stuff they also want to earn something. That adds up to Euro 1050, almost US$1300. Not really what you would call cheap :-rollMichael

I purchased the combo set a few weeks ago. The Cirrus yoke-Beech style, Throttle Quadrant-Dual, and Cirrus rudder pedals. At first I felt a little guilty about the cost. But when I put them into action, let me tell you what. The lifetime warranty will set your mind to rest. You will not regret it. If the Jet yoke is anything like the Cirrus you are in for a surprise. I can hand fly any aircraft now for hours, trimming is fun now. I've played around with the settings so that when trimming is done the pressure comes off the yoke, just a tad bit of null. The rudders are like stepping on the brake pedal of a car, it's incredible.I'm quite sure you will be as pleased as I am. Once you get your hands on it your mind will ease................Enjoy................Rex

Hi Guys,I have the Saab 340 yoke which was offered by AETI for years and made by PFC. This thing get's at least 20 hours per week of use, and I've had it for the past 5 years. It's outlasted 6 computers and the only repair was a set of springs once in awhile and PFC will send them to you at no cost, and if you ever get to look inside, well, it's first class equipment.I have never once regreted spending 'that' kind of money on this hobby as I have found that it was the single one, most important item to add realism to the sim.I can't recommend PFC highly enough.Best to all, Clayton T.Dopke (Clay)Major, USAF (retired)"Drac"

Hey, Jim and everyone else here.I Purchased the Cirrus II set up that comes w/ the yoke-Beech style, Throttle Quadrant-Dual, and Cirrus rudder pedals, and the main console you can find on there web site. Agian its the cirrus II set up w/ out the hood.I really like the feel and performance of the yoke as that was you specific question. I can tell you if you ever try there radio stack it will be hard to not aquire it. IE,...Dont try it till your ready to fork over the funds. I have also tried the go flight radio stack. Both work well and we are lucky to have this equipment avalible, just think afew years ago. Good luck and yell if I can help.Mark.

Hello,I am with you there.Since I bought the yoke some years ago, I couldn't fly with anything else. More, I just bought myself the digital throttle quadrant.Makes the flying of twins that much more realistic (and easier)Great stuff from those guysLuc 'Glaudrung' BrusselmansBelgium

Hello AllWas just about to post a message just like this. I too am interested in the PFC jetliner yoke and rudder pedals but was unsure of the prices of shipping to the UK. Have had my CH yoke and rudder combo for about 5 years and while they have been great i was always dissapointed with their build quality. well you get what you pay for. wanted to shell out on something that will last and be a little bit more upmarket. Do you reckon if I bought them from their German distributors the shipping would be cheaper or is this a standard charge from the US?thanks for the info.Rhydian, Wales.

Thanks guys for the info!Cant wait to get started!Anyone from Australia who has purchased so far?????Love to get some feedback on Customs, etc.... Getting some horror stories regarding the final cost.RegardsJimbo

I have had no experience of flight sim stuff but i have bought stuff for racing sims, the stuff is made by a Canadian company but they have a supplier in Germany, and i have had my stuff shipped to the UK from there the cost is a lot less than from the US, but the main advantage you do not have to pay VAT to the shipper (who will be charged when enterint the EU), because the stuff is coming from within the EU. I may be wrong but i think the German distributor would say get a comtainer load of stuff shipped over at a lot lower unit cost than would be charged on single items, these savings would be then passed on to hte customer.
