August 8, 200421 yr Hi, I was just looking in my FS9,cfg file and noticed the following (Weather) entry. I have never noticed this until now and I look at this file quite a bit. Was this entry automatically posted when I installed the latest version of FSUIPC? I really do not know how or when it was posted to my FS9.cfg file and what does FS9 use it for? If someone has any clues, please feel free to post:(Weather)...s/b square brackets of courseWindshieldPrecipitationEffects=1MinGustTime=10MaxGustTime=500MinGustRampSpeed=1MaxGustRampSpeed=200MinVarTime=5MaxVarTime=50MinVarRampSpeed=10MaxVarRampSpeed=75TurbulenceScale=0.200000DefaultVisibility=0DynWx_MedianDewPointSpread=10.000000DynWx_ProbCloudFormForMedianDewPoint=0.000500DynWx_MaxDewPointSpread=50.000000DynWx_ProbCloudFormForMaxDewPoint=0.000125DynWx_ProbCloudFormForMinDewPoint=0.100000DynWx_DryTempLapsePer1000Meters=9.000000DynWx_ProbCloudFormForDryTempLapse=0.000500DynWx_MoistTempLapsePer1000Meters=3.300000DynWx_ProbCloudFormForMoistTempLapse=0.040000DynWx_MaxProbCloudChangePerMinute=0.040000DynWx_MultiplierForDynamicWeatherLevelMild=0.500000DynWx_MultiplierForDynamicWeatherLevelNormal=1.000000DynWx_MultiplierForDynamicWeatherLevelHigh=3.000000DynWx_MultiplierForDynamicWeatherLevelExtreme=10.000000DynWx_TempChangePercentageForOvercastClouds=0.750000DynWx_TempChangePercentageForMinDewPoint=0.700000DynWx_MaxTempChangePerMinute=0.060000WeatherServerAddress=fs2k.zone.comWeatherServerPort=80WeatherGraphDataInDialog=0DynamicWeather=2LOADWEATHER=1MAX_UNLIMITED_VIS=160934CLOUD_DRAW_DISTANCE=53D_CLOUD_PERCENT=80DETAILED_CLOUDS=1CLOUD_COVERAGE_DENSITY=7CloudsImpostorRingRadius=64000.000000DownloadWindsAloft=1DisableTurbulence=0Regards,Tom Stewart
August 9, 200421 yr It has been there since day one. FSUIPC writes nothing to FS files.FS uses some of that data for it's own downloaded weather and some of the data is from your settings from the Options/Settings/Display/Weather screen.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
August 9, 200421 yr Thanks for the reply Jim. I use a 3rd party weather generator, FS_Meteo. I have never used the FS9's weather generation system. So I don't know why this is appearing in my FS9.cfg file unless FS_Meteo uses the information. But you are right It's a case of me simply not noticing these lines before.
