Disable controls in FSX always resets!?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a little problem. I use FSUIPC for everything, so I want to disable the Controls in FSX by unchecking them in the controller menu. It works of course, but after every restart it is checked again.

I use FSX GO and have probably set something here or have whatever else done that this happens.

Or is this behaviour normal?

Can somebody point me to an entry in the FSX.cfg where I can turn off the controls there, please?

If any one is interested:

I found the solution by comparing two FSX.cfgs with the different settings.

Controller deactivated needs

[CONTROLS]

JOYSTICKS=0

added into the config.

I still do not know why my joysticks will be reactivated randomly (and very often), but I hope I can solve this now with FSX GO

I swap between a joystick and a yoke (both always plugged in), depending on the aircraft flown..

I activate/deactivate one or the other, in the device manager...
