People like using triple monitors for FSX for the widescreen, so yes, it would work well. I have the Dell U2711 and run at 2560x1440 and FSX is brilliant at the resolution.

 

Do remember though that running at 2560x1080 over the standard 1920x1080 has a third more pixels, which will affect performance slightly.

Yep was aware of the fps ddrawback, but I am slowly building a new rig which will have haswell and new gtx 780. I was just wondering will the 21:9 not make any problems with for example the 737ngx vc.
