Bloooming lights (literally)

Featured Replies

Hopefully someone can assist.

I run FSX in both windowed and full screen (across 3 monitors). When I run full screen runway and aircraft lights seem to be "over-bloomed", over-bright. I have REX Ess+ but have re-set the textures to the default and the issue still appears.

Any ideas what it could be? Many thanks in advance.

You can adjust the runway/taxi lights some in FSX.cfg but the scenery/aircraft lighting I think is pretty much what it is.

I get the same thing on nvidia surround. The scenery lightning blooms so much you'd think their was a forest fire in the distance and aircraft look like they having a mini-explosion on board with the huge bloom for their landing lights.

It's just a side-affect of the widescreen view stretching out the lights.

Ah, that'll be it!

Many thanks Shaun, I could've spent quite some time trying to track that down.
