Just thought I'd post this for those interested. I bought FS Water after reading some of the post here. I actually like this add-on. I wasn't too crazy about the wave effects because you could hardly see them. So I just reinstalled Vilks Vater over FS Water and it looks great. I get to keep all the great textures of FS Water and have the effects of Vater. Thes two add-ons look nice together... :-shy

Could you better explain what you did? Did you install the Vater textures over FS Water's? Did you change the OceanHeightField in FS9 with Vilk's file.I've been flying morewatr and FS Water side by side doing some additional testing. As a matter of personal preference I've replaced the FS Water OceanHeightField with a more subdued version. Other than that one change I find the entire FS Water package to be very well done.Greg

Could you please point me to a site where I could download Vilks Vater? It was uploaded to FSPLANET.COM however I cannot access the download files at that site.

That combo didn't work for me at all, Dillon. I had nasty looking white caps on the waves after installing Vilk's stuff on top of FS Waters'.To each his own :-) Greg
