I wonder if you could help out with a couple quick questions? (MAC User)

 

1) Can you "update" or "upgrade" the demo version to the full paid version, or would i need to uninstall and reinstall?

 

2) Can you pay for and download the full version rather than using the DVD method?

1) I read you can but I also read it's better not to. I deleted my demo and installed fresh. Also make sure you do not used the installer from the disc but download it from Laminar instead

2) You definitely can't download the entire full version (it's 80GB). I know they started selling individual regions but I'm not sure if you can download them. Anyway paying per region would be really expensive.
