Windows 7 2D Panel Distortion

Featured Replies

Strange issue here, my 2D panels in every airplane are slightly distorted. Symptoms are that the instruments and labeling and such for switches are hard to read because of the slight distortion. There are no other problems. This occurs in DX9 mode, but DX10 preview fixes it. However I'd rather run in DX9. Any thoughts?

Applicable computer info:

-Macbook pro running Windows 7 64 bit only

-Intel HD Graphics 3000 video card

-FSX Acceleration

I have all the latest graphics drivers and all the windows updates. Oddly, this began occurring after a windows update but I did a fresh install of windows and it would take a month to sort through every individual windows update to find which one caused the problem. I feel like everything should work properly when all is updated...

Thanks!

Dan

Wide View = True or False in the CFG....worth a look at least and try the option not in use at this moment...True/False

Thanks for the reply. I do have a bit wider screen with this computer, however I've tried that and it doesn't fix the issue, just makes the external views look weird. Thanks!

Perhaps play around with the resolution of your Monitor, also maybe the screen resolution within FSX its self. Just a thought, can't really think of anything else, sorry.
