EAA Chapter 106 offers two aviation camp scholarships

EAA Chapter 106 has founded an all-inclusive aviation camp scholarship for students in New England who have demonstrated a passion for aviation and will be age 16 -18 at the end of July, 2013.

The 2013 EAA106 Youth Scholarship includes tuition, lodging, and food for a youth to attend the 8-day EAA Advanced Air Academy in Oshkosh, WI as well as airfare from a major New England airport.

This year, EAA Chapter 106 will be offering two scholarships for this amazing opportunity to attend an aviation-focused camp. The deadline for the scholarship application is January 31, 2013.

The EAA Advanced Air Academy provides an atmosphere where mature students become totally immersed in the world of flight. Ground instruction and introductory recreation flight experiences highlight this action-packed camp. It combines "in-the-air" and "on-the-ground" hands-on activities. The EAA Advanced Air Academy also includes full participation (access to forums, flight-line and all associated activities) in EAA AirVenture Oshkosh - the world's premier aviation event!

Advanced Air Academy activities include:
