this time my display problem is with Win 8... last time the problem was with WinXP. i figured out how to fix it with WinXP. i simply installed WinXP SP3 , but then i just resorted to buying a new computer. now, any suggestions on how to fix it this time?? thx.

ok, my displays work fine with the basic airplanes that come with FSX but the displays on the PMDG's ND's dont show any numbers or words in them. Or am i starting the plane up incorrectly?..could be operator error...you tell me..thx

This indeed is XP SP2 related bug. I would start with reinstalling NGX, make sure to use run as "administrator" option on installer, also make sure not to run FSX in any of compatibility modes (it caused only problems for me).

it worked! thanks so much for the help. i just reinstalled it and there it is.
