B200 with CH Products FltSim Throttle Quadrant

Featured Replies

I am having some issues with the CH Products FltSim Throttle Quadrant and the B200, specifically the throttles.

It seems that there is no response to increase the torque until the throttle handles are more than half way forward.

Also the slightest change in the throttle handles makes such a large change in the torque.

I have set it up using FSUIPC to define the various limits, reverse, idle and full throttle.

I have never had such a problem like this with any other FSX plane.

Any one experience similar issues?

Any suggestions to make it work more smoothly and uniformly throughout the entire throttle range?

Thanks, Al

Hi Al,

first ensure the Quadrant is well calibrated in Windows before doing so in FSUIPC. And plug allways into the same USB port on your pc all the time, this will keep a good calibration.

Do not assign the CH-quadrant to any levers in the FSX own setup menue, only assign in FSUIPC! You can assign its buttons in FSX-setup indeed!

In the FSUIPC calibration don´t calibrate the levers in a completely FULL forward position, try to take them some few millimeters back from full forward and do then the calibration for max forward.

If you made some sync settings in the FSUIPC calibration, delete them.

Hope that helps!

Best regards,

Thanks Andy for your suggestions.

I did check my calibration. Appeared to be OK.

As it turned out, I was not setting the throttle detent properly in FSUIPC.

It has been such a long time since I had last did this.

Now that I calibrated it correctly, It appears to be working well now.

Thanks again, Al
