I don't believe there are any moving lights for FS 2004, but USA Roads from Flight 1... well...http://www.flight1.com/images/usaroads/roads0016.jpghttp://www.flight1.com/images/usaroads/roads0015.jpghttp://www.flight1.com/images/usaroads/roads0017.jpgMy only wish for FS ground lighting is that it really should be brighter - if only Autogen could place lights....Just saying.Andrew

In my hours of real flying (200 hours at night) THe only time I've noticed miving traffic is typically nea the airport when arriving. enroute I rarely noticed the traffic unless I was pacing myself against it :)Tim

LOL! I meant seeing if the trucks were going faster than I was.Tim

They fundamentally changed how the roads were done between FS2000 and FS2002.In FS2000, the roads were laid out on separate geometry from the ground geometry. This looked sharp, and allowed things such as animated textures to be used for fraffic flow. I liked the animation too! The problem with this was that in order for the roads to look good when going into the mountains or in a region with lots of turns, they had to be very closely aligned with the underlaying ground. Otherwise it would get hidden by the ground or stick up above it. This really showed when you updated your mesh in mountainous areas. In FS2002-2004, the road textures are "baked" (or merged with the ground texture) onto the surface of the ground before they are shown in the sim. This allows for seamless updating to higher mesh, and a more effient way of storing the information. The drawbacks are that the road textures come out fuzzy, and there is no way to do any kind of animation of textures.Simpit
