advanced a/c with instructions?

Featured Replies

I remember when Oleksey Frolov first published his Dash8 -- what I liked about it most was that it came with an instructional flight which if followed correctly allowed me to fly and land this advanced a/c.Just downloaded the F18 Superhornet -- but, as with many/most freeware a/c, all the effort has been put into creating the a/c -- but no manual or instructions at all. So, can anybody recommend any advanced a/c that come with a step-by-step kind of instructional flight which includes how to land?I find that I can land most slower a/c -- but I can't with others - need some help.ThanksBarry

Hi Bazza,Do you have any prerequisites of the type of plane?, free or pay?A couple of free ones spring to mind, in both complexity, and the quality of supplied document and these are.1) AFG's YS11, www.alliedfsgroup.com , a nice twin turbo prop, that is fairly complex and has some good docs.2) Matthuis Liebrecht's (sp?) BAE146 panel , http://www.baepanelproject.com/Bae146.htm , this combined with Jon Murchisons BAE146 make for a very complex freeware addon.3) Matthuis Liebrecht's JS31, http://www.baepanelproject.com/Jetstream31.htm , a VERY complex twin turbo prop panel, which simulates all sorts of turbo prop issues, hot starts etc. There are probably a few more, I do like Lonny Paynes 757 panel, that is pretty complex, but I am not sure I remember too much about the docs.Dan.
