Hi gents, I have read about the Xgauge function in AS. I have AS2012 latest version networked on a laptop. My setup works flawlessly and I would not like to do anything to change that.

 

Is it a straight forward process to get a weather "radar" from AS2012 to show up in my MD-11s ND? How does this actually work? Will the installer search for planes and ask?

AS2012 comes with a utilty that will add the WX radar pop-up 2d window to all of your installed planes. Rerun the utility any time you add new planes. The Wx radar is a pop-up window only; it does not integrate into the displays in the dash. I use it in my MD-11. Works well.
