August 20, 200421 yr I can't speak of the real plane, but a tip for the FSD Seneca is to check the digital display panel. The engine section will give you warnings when you do things you shouldn't. Basically, you can't go full throttle and full RPM. You have to scale back and make sure the engine temps stay within normal values. It is really amazing how many bad habits we learn flying flightsim aircraft. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
August 20, 200421 yr On the real one you have five minutes of full power, then you must throttle back to at least max continuous thrust (MCT). In aviation, unlike other things, the stated limits are pretty much the actual limits! There is some 50% slack one of the stated stress limits of Class A Public Transport a/c but that is about it!
August 20, 200421 yr Hi,Thanks for the answers folks.I doubt I'll fly this plane again anytime soon and I'd never buy it as I like the early era single engine stuff. Thanks again for your time.
