Can Aerosoft and Ezdok work together?

Featured Replies

I purchased Ezdok and Frankfurt Hahn x and installed them on a complete clean FSX (only Sp1 and Sp2). Unfortunately, only the Aerosoft line is showing up in my addon menu... So I can't use Ezdok. How can I fix this? My dll.xml and exe.xml are showed below.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">

<Disabled>False</Disabled>

<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>

<Path>Aerosoft\ASE_DATA\AseData.dll</Path>

</Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>

Hi Word Not Allowed,

Ezdok puts an option to disable within FSX via addon menu.

Why is the OP showing two versions of his dll.xml in his original post, one with Ezydok. one without. There should only be a exe.xml and dll.exml for ezdok to work.

Hmmmm you're both right. I changed the line in the exe.xml ''<Filename>dll.xml</Filename>'' to ''<Filename>exe.xml</Filename>'' but after that my hole addon menu in FSX is gone :P

My exe.xml looks like this now. My addon menu is showing again but Ezdok don't... Still same problem...

Hmmm, I have 3 simconnect folders in winxs, is that correct?

  • 2 weeks later...

Problem is solved. Did a complete reinstall of Windows and FSX and now all the addons are working beside eachother. Can use Aerosoft AND Ezdok now!
