I have great interest with flying machines specially with Boeing &

Airbus

:-)

Ordered MS FSX Gold Edition will get it today itself

 

I have one existing PC with following configuration

 

CPU Intel E7500 Dual Core

Memory 8GB DDR2

Motherboard - DG45ID

Display - On Board - Intel GMA X4500

 

Is this configuration sufficient to start with???

 

I am also planning to buy Nvidia GT -630 with 2 GB Memory

Another query if i purchacse GT 630 with 4GB Memory will this improve proformance?

 

As of now only i can go ahead with Display Card

 

Please guide me....

It won't be as nice as the screenshots you've seen around here that's for sure.

 

That's a low end system (by today's standards) so prepare to turn a lot of settings down to get smooth gameplay.

 

The onboard video card is bad for FSX. One 630 would be a little bit of an improvement. Can you try for something like the 650 instead? You also have to make sure your power supply can handle a GTS 650.

 

If I were you I'd try the FSX demo. Once you have that as a basline, and install your FSX Gold, you should expect a little better performance.

 

Bottomline: Just be careful with your sliders especially if you buy payware airplanes and scenery.

GT 650 is PCI Express 3.0 card... my system is having PCI Express 2.0 slot...

will 4GB GT 630 card perform better than 2GB GT 630 Card?

Finally loaded FSX & Acceleration Pack....to avaiod installation of FSX-SP2

I have just activated & register FSX, Do i need to register Acceration Pack for FSX-SP2 to come into effect?
