February 8, 201313 yr Hi All Autogen buildings have started appearing as untextured white blocks in random locations before vanishing and re-appearing somewhere else. The patterns are not the same each time. This happens on any scenery, day or night. The only way to stop this irritating flashing on and off of Autogen is to turn all of it off ! I have been installing scenery lately but have tried disabling this in turn and all together ,to no effect. The Autogen seems to have "a mind of its own" Anyone come across this before ? FS9/Windows 7 32bit/Dell Studio Quad Core/Nvidia Gforce 9800GT with latest drivers. David (UK) David Ireland (UK)

I would guess what has happened is that you have somehow (possibly to do with your new scenery) deleted the original FS9 autogen textures (thus displaying them as white blocks) .I would suggest you may have to re-install the original autogen folder from your FS9 discs . I might be wrong so before doing anything I would wait until someone perhaps more in the know chips in with ideas. If it is simply a case of re-install of the orig file then that is easily done. Andy
February 9, 201313 yr Author Hi Andy thanks for your reply....it got me thinking. The FS9/Autogen file is an .xml file which appears to "call up" autogen object textures from the main FS9/Texture file. I have a backup of my entire FS9 on an external hard-drive......so I copied the FS9/Texture file from backup to active and now all is well. It seems there may be a bug in the Autoinstaller for Tropicalsim SBGL 2012 which "forgot" or corrupted a texture file in the main FS9/texture folder. This is not the first time I have come across this issue.......I wish Payware scenery developers would supply a Zip file and proper instructions for a manual install. At least with that method we have a chance of isolating a problem. Thanks again best regards David David Ireland (UK)
February 9, 201313 yr Your welcome. I have had this white autogen problem myself in the past ,Cant remember what caused it or how I solved at the time, but I jolly well did, The funny thing is most of time I don't use any autogen .(not much point at FL330 Cheers Andy
February 9, 201313 yr Author I spend a lot of time at FL 3xx too,,,,,,,but the first 3000ft going up and the last bit coming down was MOST annoying ! David Ireland (UK)
