PIC 737 Evolution upgrade FS9 - No stab trim sound

Featured Replies

Since upgrading to the PIC 737 EVO version for FS9, I don't hear the stab trim sound anymore and I can't find a trim.wav file in the sounds or a trim sound parameter in the sound.cfg. I admit it was very loud in the original PIC 737 but it is authentic to include it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I only have the FSX version, but the sound is very faint. It's in the FeelThere\b737 v2\Sounds\Trim folder. Perhaps the structure is similar on the FS9 version and you can check if it's there or even edit it.

Thanks for that ... I was looking in the wrong folder ! (Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/feelThere pic 727-300/sound ) and couldn't find a trim.wav.

I'll edit it so that I can hear it without lifting the level to the old PIC 737 which was too distracting.

The other problem I had after upgrading to the EVO version was when using filghts saved in the old PIC 737 the aircraft would never line up exactly in an ILS approach, but it's OK if I create new flights in EVO .... May'be you experienced that if you upgraded ?

Thanks again for your help.

Keep in mind that I have the FSX version. But I have to admit that I've hardly used saved flights with her. Not much help, huh? I only use saved situations for my few long haul journeys at times. So I can't tell.

Since my last post I've edited the trim.wav to make it louder and I can hear it very loud now when I move the stab trim wheel manually, but only when the aircraft is on the ground. Once in flight during manual or auto stab trim wheel rotation I can't hear any stab trim sound at all ..... wierd !
