August 28, 200421 yr On a recent flight I took N145DR to Ljubljana in Slovenia LJLJ from the UK.The flight involved cracking tailwinds on the way down over the Alps at FL 180 and 230 kt groundspead. On the way back it couldnt have been more different with painful headwinds, two stops, thunderstorms on departure and extensive thunderstorms over Northern France.Ljubljana is surrounded by 10000 ft mountains with some interesting Sids and Stars (when I became visual I was cleared downwind at 10000 feet ;-)On my way back I stopped at St Gallen Altenrhein and found this beauty from MSFS.If anyone is interested in other shots over the Alps from this trip I can place them in the Screenshots forumCheersPeterhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89317.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89318.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89319.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89321.jpg
