Grounded Water!

Featured Replies

In FSX I have an issue. At least at ORBX PNW and EU, the ocean is not ocean. It is instead a sea of land, with water no longer water and replaced by blocks of plain flat land. The land extends to a certain point, before turning normal, however all the ocean within a certain radius of the aircraft is land. When this problem arose FTX Central was set to FTX EU, and that was where the problem occurred. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

I'm presuming that you're referring to flying outside of the ORBX scenery coverage area when this occurs?

The same issue has been brought up over at the ORBX forums. The best advice from them is to take off from your departure airfield (let's say within EU region), then as you're about to leave the coverage area save your flight, exit FSX, switch in FTX Central to default, then load your flight back up and carry on. This is the only know fix at the moment for this. It seems that some a having the problem, whilst others aren't.

I know that the ORBX guys are working on a fix for this but it could take a while. If you have no success hit up ORBX at the forums and see what they can do.

Do you use Ultimate Terrain X? If so, try to disable and re-enable it.
