February 28, 201313 yr Hey all, I recently installed FSX on my new computer with a radeon 7870 2gb. The FPS I am getting are decent at normal airports (30-60) and a whopping 9-10 fps at JFK. This is stock, no upgrades at all with medium - medium high settings. Based on my PC stats, I was hoping to run fsX with many addons, but at the moment it appears this will not be feasable. Before I do anything else, the blurries, noticable at all distances, need to be fixed. Even when the frames are in the high 60s, the blurries create a wave-like illusion of 10 fps. I have tried everybodys advice using the CCC, but with Windows 8 the majority of the options are no longer there. Likewise, you only get to fix one setting at a time and are required to apply it before leaving, reducing the ability to "trick" fsX. Can anybody walk me through an updated version of the CCC with the best options for my PC? Thanks
