Dear readers!

 

I was wondering if it is possible to put in freeware panel parking break sound and other button sounds (like flaps and speed break operations)? I have great parking break sound from PMDG (MD-11) and great QW speedbreak and flaps button sounds. I have been trying to mix it in to my other planes (through panel.cfg) without success. Maybe someone can give good advise.

I wanted to do the same thing and asked this question a long time ago, however I received zero responses. Hopefully you will have better fortune in getting some direction with this.

If your existing parking brake gauge etc doesn't have a sound and is not written in xml then you've had it!

The only way is to write your own gauge in xml and add a sound using Doug Dawson's sound gauge. Or learn C++ and do a gauge using that.
