March 11, 201313 yr Are there any CRJ base models out there that work for FSX AI traffic? I have almost given up looking. All the models that used to work in FS9 AI traffic for me (e.g. TFS, Opensky) all do not work with FSX.
March 11, 201313 yr Commercial Member Pretty much all the FS9 AI traffic works with FSX if you don't use DX10 preview at least, I think there might be a way to convert those to work with DX10 too although I'm not entirely sure, maybe addon converter x or something like that is able to do it? Currently I'm using Ultimate Traffic 2 with a lot of FS9 AI models.
March 12, 201313 yr I have the majority of my AI as FS9 models, even though I use UT2, I have plenty of WOAI flightplans installed, and have even assigned FS9 models to most of my UT2 flights as well. The only thing I can think of that could cause an issue is having DirectX 10 enabled, or, if you have aircraft shadows on. With shadows on, FS9 AI will be invisible except for the nav lights, but I think that only happens at some airports, I forget the reason. A.J. Domingo
March 12, 201313 yr Author Oh thanks, but I figured out my problem. I was unknowingly mixing FSX and FS9 flightplans in my scenery folder, and in this case FSX defaults to using only the FS9 flightplans, while my CRJ aircraft were in the FSX flightplans. I updated all my FS9 plans to FSX plans and the CRJs are all appearing fine now
