  1. The price is completely reasonable indeed, and for those who use both FSX and P3D (like me) the total price for both versions is going to be much, much lower than with some other devs who charge you the full price twice, as if they had to model everything from the scratch for P3D which isn't the case obviously.
  2. Definitely going to buy this one, it has been a long time since something great like this was released. And only having to pay the price difference for P3D version is a great policy, charging twice for a product that is to a high degree identical, like some other developers do, simply isn't very fair IMO.
  3. Not sure if there's much you can do to fix that, I think that particular scenery happens to be an extremely heavy and perhaps poorly optimized one. At least that's what I remember from when I last had it installed.
  4. It's a scam, a version of free open-source flight simulator Flighgear being sold commercially by some dishonest person / persons looking to make easy money.
  5. Looks awesome! I think I will finally switch to P3D V3 when this thing comes out. Regards, Joona L
  6. Coolsky for 30 as it's much more detailed, if you want fly other models then also Sky Simulations.

I disagree, terrorist attacks are a very much political thing. If you completely separate politics from them then what discussion can you possibly have after everybody has left their condolences? I don't really get this mindset either, people should be able to discuss even hot topics and disagree about them with each other in respectful manner. If we aren't capable of doing even that then there's not much hope for future of this specie. Well, from plenty of real world aviation forums you can also find a non-aviation forum with quite an amount of political discussion. I don't see why that couldn't be the case here too.

I think it's pretty natural that people get desensitized to news about violent attacks in Middle East, or the classic, starving children of Africa because that stuff happens constantly, year after year. . But sure, I don't really get this "add tricolor to your profile pic" phenomenon nor did I join it myself. With same logic one could add flags of tons of other countries, like Russia which lost over 200 of its citizen as a result of bombing down Metrojet flight. Yes, and we should also stop tolerating the intolerant. Too long have European authorities turned a blind eye to hate preaching and money from certain Middle Eastern countries that support it. (TIP: They have a lot of money and Iran isn't one of them).

Sure, but I doubt calling for determined action against ISIS and other violent, radical forms of Islam is going to offend anybody here.

Now that also the Metrojet case has been officially confirmed as a bombing it's time for the EU and Russia to truly start co-operating in fight against ISIS and radical Islam in general. We must absolutely crush them at any cost. Thanks for sharing. Indeed the western foreign policy in Middle East has been an utter failure. Even today the US continues to support Saudi-Arabia and Qatar, two countries that have played a major part in rise of ISIS, together with GWB's decision to invade Iraq.
  11. Hopefully I'll get to download the 1.0 from my account by 2025.
  12. When you come nearby land again it should regenerate very quickly.
  13. Replacing daeladus paints is pretty easy. You need to download AI models of aircraft operated buy Ryanair & Jet2, and then proper paints for them. Then you can assign those paints for Ryanair and Jet 2 schedules through UT2 program. Downloading and installing AI models & paints for a lot of airlines is very time consuming, however it really isn't complicated at all. Through UT2 power pack program (I think it isn't included by default, you can download it from somewhere) you can also add custom flightplans to UT2... So if you want up to date flightplans for let's say Ryanair you can just go download new ttools flightplans, then use the power pack to create a new UT2 database, and finally use the main UT2 program to assign right liveries for it. Naturally you need to disable the original UT2 plans by deleting aircraft assignments to avoid having duplicate traffic. Like said this stuff is very time consuming, however if you have the patience to download & assign liveries and up to date schedules there's no better AI traffic addon than UT2. If you don't have the time then I would recommend Mytraffic.
  14. That's amazing setup right there! Would love to own something like that, perhaps some day if when I've got enough cash and space for it.
  15. I will probably stick to Win 7 as long as I possibly can. At least MS is thankfully out of FS business now, one less thing for them to ruin. Generally it's definitely good idea to stay out of anything that reads "Microsoft", apart from XP, Win 7 and FSX.
  16. Yeah could be, I've done most of my QW 757 flying with PW model. The CS one always sounded like a vacuum cleaner to me.
  17. While QW 757 has some simplified systems I think it's pretty superior to CS in terms of flight dynamics. It just feels way better to fly, less default 737 like. Also it has a totally superior soundset, no need to buy TSS or any other custom sound set for QW. I haven't touched the CS 757 since I got QW.

If you are looking for modern MUHA there's a good payware from Taxi2Gate for FSX.
  19. Just go ahead and buy it, GSX is a great program. Coautl might give you occasional issues, but they can always be solved rather quickly through reinstallation if nothing else. Admittedly I still haven't figured out what exact benefit Addon Manager and Coautl are supposed to give me.
  20. The implementation of that idea was indeed a huge failure, I saw someone selling a virtual axe for two dollars or so in the steam page. I really don't have anything against the core idea itself, however there should be a strict quality control. Tiny mods that add little new content to the game definitely don't deserve to be sold on Steam, however I don't see why large scale DLC (for example large new areas, like Falskaar mod) couldn't be sold on Steam store. Obviously the developer should receive a fair cut, not something pathetic like 25%. I think that kind of a model would definitely allow developers to create some more absolutely amazing mods that could very well offer many more gameplay hours than the core game itself, just like payware in FS community has brought us some extremely detailed scenery and aircraft addons.
  21. Paid version of FSUIPC, you don't need anything else.
  22. if you purchased the product from flightsimstore I don't get why would you complain about download problems to Aerosoft who have absolutely nothing to do with the download service from that particular site.
  23. I hope so, when it gets released it's time to get back to bush flying in Papua New Guinea. Going to buy ORBX Port Moresby too...
  24. Exactly. A320 has operated since late 80's in very high numbers, if it was an unsafe aircraft we would see it by now on statistics. Currently A320's accident rate is very similar to that of the 737, which indeed did experience way more severe issues in the 90's than A320 has ever done. Regards, Joona L
