September 8, 200421 yr This is not the usual one where you have to press F1 before exiting the slew mode but similar. More often than not as soon as I press the 'Y' key to go into slew mode the aircraft sets off at a great rate of knots to who knows where on the planet. I have to press the 5 key on the numberpad to stop this but by this time the aircraft is usually somewhere in a neighbouring town which is annoying if you only want to make a minor adjustment. Last night I went to KDCA airport went into slew mode and just watched to see where it would end up, as we crossed Alaska I stopped the slew as it appeared we were going on a world tour and I didn't have time.I have tried pressing varios keys before going into slew mode including F1 and numberpad 5 without success. It doesn't appear to be aircraft or airport related and it doesn't matter whether I select a previously saved flight or go to an airport from the menu. Anyone got any other ideas?ThanksPhil Asus Maximus Hero XI , i7-8086, 16 Gb RAM, nVidia GTX 1080 ti
September 8, 200421 yr Author Thanks for you response, I have tried as you suggested inreasing the joystick null zone but it has had no effect, however while messing about with the joystick options I went into the assignments and noticed the option for assignments in Slew mode, which I had forgotten about. A few months ago I set up my old gameport CH Pedals without using a gameport joystick as described in another post and this had some settings 'in slew mode'. They are now gone and so is my problem. Thanks for your suggestion, it got me there in the end.Phil Asus Maximus Hero XI , i7-8086, 16 Gb RAM, nVidia GTX 1080 ti
