March 16, 201313 yr I have just bought FSX and I have tried to install it several times. It gets to the very end of the installation but then an error pops up. This keeps happening when it is registering the product. I got the game off Amazon. I don't think that the game is registered with Microsoft. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
March 16, 201313 yr Here's one possible solution - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-gaming/problems-installing-flight-simulator-x-at-windows/cc1b3849-0430-4b18-be44-c87e77bbf604. Not know what the error message stated, it's difficult to help you. Here's a guide on uninstalling/installing FSX - http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx. If you tried installing it once before and it didn't install properly, then you need to uninstall it first or remove all the folders left before trying to reinstall. Running a registry cleaner after uninstalling and making sure no FSX files are left is also recommended. If you bought FSX from Amazon, you should be able to register and activate it after installation. Hopefully you bought the FSX-Gold Edition.
