March 28, 201313 yr Hello guys, Does anyone flew this little bird on icing condition using OPUS 2.90.5 or above? Casue I keep getting the right engine to flame out even with engine anti ice ON. I heard that OPUS had implemented icing, so I would like to know if its possible. Thanks Matias SorcinelliCHECK MY CHANNEL!!! - http://www.youtube.com/user/masneoquil
March 28, 201313 yr Commercial Member Cloud icing was introduced in Beta 2.94.0. There is no cloud icing included in previous versions. You can check on all enhancements and the current beta dev cycle using our Announcements topic in SimForums. Cloud icing has been introduced which the LWE will automatically set within the cloud to none, low, medium, high, or severe depending on the ambient temperature within the cloud, the cloud type, and the cloud moisture level. Some icing is likely to occur when the ambient temperature is between -20C and 0C, with more noticeable effects when the ambient cloud temperature is between -12C and -8C. All calculated icing effects require valid GRIB forecast data. Stephen
