Is there a way to set the cockpit view to 0.60 and have it saved.  I know you could do this in FS9, but I'm using FSX and there is no capabaility that I can find to set the view on a default basis, or even set to a specific view.  Any ideas.  I already know about the -+ way of zooming, it doesn't allow you to have a 0.60 view of the outside.

You can edit the Camera.cfg, which is found in the same folder as the FSX cfg. Find the virtual cockpit entry and set the InitialZoom to 0.6. This will change the default VC zoom for all aircraft. You could create a new view in the NGX's aircraft.cfg at the appropriate zoom, but you'd still have to switch to that view, so it would be about the same as having to set the zoom anyway.
