April 1, 201313 yr Downloaded a Delta A-319 from this site a few days ago. The gear is embedded in the runway when it's started up. No matter where it's opened, the wheels are stuck way down. How do I bring the wheels up to the proper height? Appreciate your help. Stan
April 1, 201313 yr I think this has to do with the contact points defined in the aircraft.cfg. You'll have to play around with the numbers, but I'm pretty suer that this can do the trick. Florian
April 2, 201313 yr Just to add a little to what Florian said.Here's the breakdown://0 Class <0=none,1=wheel, 2=scrape, 3=float>//1 Longitudinal Position (feet)//2 Lateral Position (feet)//3 Vertical Position (feet)//4 Impact Damage Threshold (Feet Per Minute)//5 Brake Map (0=None, 1=Left, 2=Right)//6 Wheel Radius (feet)//7 Steer Angle (degrees)//8 Static Compression (feet) (0 if rigid)//9 Max/Static Compression Ratio//10 Damping Ratio (0=Undamped, 1=Critically Damped)//11 Extension Time (seconds)//12 Retraction Time (seconds)//13 Sound Type//14 Airspeed limit for retraction (KIAS)//15 Airspeed that gear gets damage at (KIAS)So for the rear wheels you want to increase/decrease the hi lighted sections:[contact_points]point.0= 1.000, 75.420, 0.000, -14.220, 1181.100, 0.000, 1.777, 70.000, 0.500, 2.100, 0.814, 11.000, 13.200, 0.000, 0.000, 0.000point.1= 1.000, -7.200, -15.800, -16.540, 1574.800, 1.000, 2.369, 0.000, 1.510, 2.000, 0.747, 9.700, 14.100, 2.000, 0.000, 0.000point.2= 1.000, -7.200, 15.800, -16.540, 1574.800, 2.000, 2.369, 0.000, 1.510, 2.000, 0.747, 9.700, 14.100, 3.000, 0.000, 0.000Which will raise or lower your aircraft.Hope that works for you.
