April 3, 201313 yr I verified weather at three airports, Asheville, NC; Easton, Md; and Bloomington, In. Also flew from Easton to Asheville at 8,000 ft and the winds aloft closely matched the flight plan from my real world flight planning site. I checked all of those airports before my 3 hour flight and again after the and the surface weather was spot on, reflecting changes in winds, temps, and pressure over that period. The FSX weather engine had been static since about March 19.
