April 6, 201313 yr Hi, just purchased OpusFSX and I would like to use it with TrackIR5. TrackIR Setup with Opus works just fine, smooth movements, no bumps. However, when it comes to set the TrackIR cockpit limits (for the PMDG 737NGX), I have a problem. The "TrackIR head movement limits" button just not appears in the configure dialog, so I can not setup the limits. I followed the instructions in the Live Camera Interface guide, "Enable live camera control" is ticked, "Enable TrackIR" is ticked. I use the latest version of OpusFSX. Any ideas? Thanks Stefan
April 6, 201313 yr Commercial Member Hi Stefan This is currently in beta, but wait until the next beta posting next week since the first version is being revised. The new limits will be named and the new camera config allows a named limits to be assigned to the view. The next beta 2.95.0 will be posted soon, do not try 2.94.5 though as its all changing. Stephen
April 7, 201313 yr Author Hi Stephen, just to clarify, I do not use any beta versions, I installed the current "purchase" version (which is 2.90.5 accordig to the homepage) without any updates. So, TrackIR head movement limits will be a new feature for the next version (or is currently only avail in beta version released after 2.90) and it is normal that the limits button does not show under configure dialog in v2.90.5? Is that correct? Thanks for the help Stefan
April 7, 201313 yr Commercial Member The current beta developments will soon be coming to an end and they will all be released as version 3.00, very soon. We are currently revising the TIR head limits to allow named limits to be created and referenced by the camera views. That upgrade will be posted as beta 2.95.0 very soon, then after a small trial and a few other small upgrades the software will become release version 3.00. You are correct in your assumptions although I can't remember if I included the button but greyed aout or didn't show the button at all in 2.90.5. But the option will definitely be there in 3.00. Stephen
April 7, 201313 yr Author Hi Stephen, alright then, thanks for explaining. Looking forward for v3. For now I will just enjoy the beautiful weather depiction of OpusFSX without the TrackIR limits ^_^ , wonderful piece of software btw. Cheers Stefan
