Can helicopters be stable in xplane 10?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I've been wanting to purchase the Dream foil Bell 206 and the ND MK117, but one big issue for me.

They do look amazing, however are these easier to fly than the default Bell?? I can't even get any control of the default models in any way shape or form. I lowered my sensitivity to 50% and all it does is want to roll left extremely and the overall control is just impossible. That is the only thing that stops me from purchasing any add on helicopters. I have had 100% success in FSX with sensitivity all the way up. Am I missing something here? I have the Saitek X52 system I use for Helis and have no noise going on that I can see. Thanks much in advance :)

Best, Jeff

Never mind...  I've found useful info. Xplane is certainty different with setup. Much better now, and the BK117 is really nice. Just need to double check a few things in the manual and joystick custom command setups.

Best, Jeff
