April 7, 201313 yr It did quite a bit of damage: http://bit.ly/10HYn8R Tore the door right off the A330, from what I've heard on my company forums apparently the bridge on Door 2L was being removed and crashed into the bridge on door L1 causing both to topple over and crash. Luckily no one on the ground was hurt and the bridge operator only received minor injuries... We had something similar happen a few years a few years ago down in Cork when the jetway went berzerk and started rising on it's own ripping the door off one of our A321s... At least no one was hurt but that's going to cost Cathay a fair bit of money to repair... Just to point out here though, gate 71, not 69... Regards, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
