Mark,Probably I should fly more:-) But sometimes such little details get me thinking. I must admit I'm a very visual guy:-bigangel. My point is that about 98% of computer enclosures, printers, monitors etc. are so damn ugly, you must imagine someone spend alot of time into the design and doing so making everything even worse. A nice overall design isn't hard to do just take simple forms and you'll have most certainly a winner (with a nice colour of course;-)). And it's not only the computer market infected with the virus of our hightech society, demanding faster and faster product cycles every year, ending in trashy products in all categories. There are products out there where you get the feeling that they hired some blind people to do the design looking so ugly (nothing against blind people). I'm sure you won't notice a big difference at your office but it's a total different story if you have computer in your living room.cheers,Claudio

You can blame IBM for the colour of the vast majority of PC's. I seem to recall it appearing with the first IBM PC in 1981 or thereabouts and it's stuck until only very recently. I've seen the colour referred to as IBM Beige on more than one occasion, they probably have a patent on it. :-)Black and silver seems to be creeping in now. Just about every computer related item on/under my desk now is black with either a silver border or trim. I prefer it but it does tend to show up the dust.Anyway I'm colour blind, so I'm not game to criticise ANY colour scheme. :-)Adrian

>Mind you, I have more important questions. Do CH Pedals last>longer if you wear shoes, socks or bare feet? And if you wear>socks, what colour should they be?>>Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontI don't know if they'll last longer, but they will smell better if you wear shoes.David
