April 11, 201313 yr Can someone tell me how you set up a network with the PC and the Apple computer with Parallels? I have no idea how to do it. I have never set up a network before. I would like to network my Macbook (and Parallels and Aivlasoft EFB to be installed) with my FSX PC. Is it possible and/or practical? I know there are some tutorials online about setting up a network of PC’s, but I did not find something specific about a PC connected to an Apple with Parallels. If someone can tell my how to do it, or give me any pointers, that would be great!
April 11, 201313 yr aviationfan, It can be done, and it's not difficult. Like you, I had not set up a network before, but I now have Plan-G running on a MacBook Pro with Parallels (Windows XP), connected via SimConnect with my FSX PC (Windows 7). These two sites and the Plan-G documentation were helpful: File and Printer Sharing - Getting Windows 7 and Mac OS X to Play Together Share Files and Printers between Windows 7 and XP - How-To Geek
