If you open the CHAT system by clicking on the CHAT tab above, you will find the fully open chat system. You can however, open a separate window for chat:

 

 

 

If you click on the double pane symbol next to the AVSIM Chat System Title, you will open a second window, which allows you to return to the board and other functions while maintaining an open chat window no matter where else you may be. EDIT: This is not working. Please disregard. We'll be working to fix it.

 

I am currently in chat and will be for the next 10 - 15 minutes if anyone would like to chat.

I'm sure I'm being stupid but I don't see the chat tab.  What does it look like?
