April 16, 201313 yr What can you say about the best way to install, using the Estonian Migration Tool, an add-on for FSX that has the options to be installed on FSX Acceleration or FSX + SP2? When installing to Prepar3d should I choose Acc or SP2? Thx for any ideas / suggestions ;-) P.S.: yesterday I have successfuly installed the b377 COTS v2 into Prepar3d without any problems. It will take it's time before I get used to the complexity and accuracy of the modelled systems, but so far it appears that everythins is running as it was suposed to. The installer prompted me to choose between FSX Acc or FSX Sp2. I chose Sp2, but I could probably have chosen Acc (?) April 17, 201313 yr Interesting question. I am not sure but wanted to ask an acceleration question. Sorry if this is a dumb one. Do I need to/should I, or can I, install acceleration in prepar3d? I just got because I couldn't find my key for my FSX gold edition disks.
April 17, 201313 yr Author Nope, Acc is FSX only. Regarding the add-on I was referring to, I tried installing as if it was FSX sp2 and FSX Acc, and both worked without any noticeable problems. I chose to stay with the 2nd install (assuming FSX + Acc).
