This would be the obvious, and I appreciate your response. However, I thought that it may be a possibility that there is some type of modification that has been made to provide in game lessons & tutorials. If not, I guess this is the only avenue available and I appreciate your attention!

There's nothing built-in. There is this 3rd party add-on that I tried the demo for:

There's one version that covers a lot of the default planes, and a more comprehensive version just for the Cessna 172.

 

Windows-only, 32-bit only for now.
