September 29, 200421 yr I don't know whether anyone is interested in this, but here is an around the world flight plan via a Northern Route. An aircraft with a range of at least 1,200 miles is needed. I used the Cessna 421 Golden Eagle for my flight.I also inserted a cruise altitude of 5,000 feet for my plan throughout. Where a higher altitude is needed to clear terrain, ATC will so direct you. (All plans were IFR). I realize this is a lot of bird to be flying low altitudes when it has a capability well above FL200, but I wanted to see the scenery and could not find another which fit the range requirements as well. I leave this decision up to the purist.I also maintained 32"Manifold Press and 1,600 RPM, leaned to just about peak EGT. Did my best to avoid known trouble spots. If you get intercepted, call your embassy, or choose an F16 or such. (The fastest thing you can find with big fuel tanks).I also did my best to proof read ONCE. Getting the lines to fit here also required a little bit of arrangement so I hope no errors were originated in copying here. I would sincerely suggest that you take a peek at your map in FSNAV or some other such utility before beginning your flight. If you see any errors, please so post a reply.Departure Point>Waypoints>Destination:Leg 1: KLWB>RHODE>CSN>EMI>PTW>BWZ>SAX>BAF>BGR>PQI>TAFFY>CL>CYCLLeg 2: CYCL>CL>PN>CYYRLeg 3: CYYR>LOACH>5753N>5947N>BGBWLeg 4: BGBW>OZN>6140N>6330N>EMBLA>KEF2A>BIKFLeg 5: BIKF>ING>ROSTI>LINDA>MY>AB>OLKER>STN>EGPOLeg 6: EGPO>STN>NEVIS>TLA>HALIF>CTM>MOGLI>DET>SANDY>RATUK>VESAN> KOPOR>LFPBLeg 7: LFPB>BSN>FAMEN>LNO>NOR>GMH>PODER>DLE>BKD>GOLBO>CHO>TRB>KRT> EPGDLeg 8: EPGD>KMI>GOMED>KRAKI>PODIL>VTB>RATIN>FK>UM>UUEELeg 9: UUEE>NE>ULWW>ANDAT>USKK>MN>USPPLeg 10: USPP>AR01>USTR>ML>SZ>SULIM>UNNTLeg 11: UNNT>EB>OC>SAMBA>UNWW>RATKO>OLANA>WN>ZAGOR>IVRAS>RX>BAMOL> KOTIB>UIBBLeg 12: UIBB>PIKET>KI>SONEK>TONAK>UEMO>OGIRA>UEEELeg 13: UEEE>62E31>LOMUK>BAGUN>INLIR>BA>UHMMLeg 14: UHMM>TA>MA>GOTOS>KM01>AMGUT>63E78>BE>PAGMLeg 15: PAGM>PAOM>CAXOL>APUYO>GOLOS>YUCON>MCG>WINOR>MIGAN>FRIDA> IVANN>ANC>PANCLeg 16: PANC>YESKA>JOH>HBK>HUMPY>KILLA>BKA>PASILeg 17: PASI>FLIPS>TOKEE>ERANE>ANN>HANRY>DUGGS>PRYCE>YZT>ROYST> 49N24>YYJ>CHATM>LOFAL>KBFILeg 18: KBFI>TAGOR>BLUIT>MWH>ODESS>47N16>HLN>BIL>KBILLeg 19: KBIL>MUSTY>RECAP>DPR>FSD>FOD>KDBQLeg 20: KDBQ>COTTON>DBK>CGT>BVT>MACES>VHP>KLWBEdited Note: I see that in trying to copy my spreadsheet here, it did away with all of the columns. An aircraft with a range of at least 1,800 miles will be needed for this plan. I used a piper Cheyenne 400 LS as my proposed bird. The second plan is by a Southern Route, via Miami, South America, Africa, The Far East, Australia, and Japan. My bird of choice was the Cessna 421 Golden Eagle. In the works: A single leg flight with the B52. Clay, if you read this, is the range of the B52 we have in flightsim any where near accurate on the range? Looks like it could make it all the way around without refueling if the data is correct.Happy flying:RTH

September 29, 200421 yr I'm doing an around the US tour that I started with recieving FS9 when it came out and fly for no more than an hour hitting all capital cities, all us land marks, all high detail default airports and other points of interest. I'm about half thru it and have used the curtis, dc3, 172, robinson, lear, king air and baron for my flights. Its a great pleasure to fly into all these small airfields with GA traffic going to them now, touch and go traffic, and all the great scenery. I'm holding off for an around the world flight in hopes that the next version will offer something to make the user feel like he /she has entered into a new country like voices and procedures. I fully beleive that MS will be dropping the ball if the next version doesnt offer some new voices of international dialects. It would be great if in the next version there would be a way to assign dialects to fleets so that air france sounds like a french pilot and so on and so forth. Attached is a pic of my route.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/92711.jpg
