Occasional beeping sound in cruise.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Having some issues accessing the official forum so thought I'd cast my query out here.

Firstly, this is a FANTASTIC aircraft. To the MJC team, thanks for such a game-changing offering and also for your excellent pre-release information. It's good to have seen such a wealth of previews on the fb page leading up to release.

So far my flying has been mostly issue-free, with the few anomalies I've encountered being user-induced. It's been a long time since I sat down with an aircraft that has genuinely challenged me like this!

One thing I've been stuggling to work out though is a random, occasional beeping noise in the cruise. It's a single-tone beep of about half a second in duration, and is occurring at random intervals, sometimes just seconds apart, sometimes it goes silent for several minutes.

At first I thought it might be the "alarm" part of the Wx radar "Wx+Alarm" mode, but I'm not sure. On a 2 hour flight it came and went without any real pattern.

Anyone else encountered this?

Cheers

Mark
