April 25, 201313 yr Oh well, interesting reading the quick link you posted above. As I said in another couple threads that night lighting wasnt as good for me recently. I tried the mod yesterday and it was better but perhaps overdone. At least the mod has a number of options so I can try different ones. I got the 10.21 r1 which overwrote the mod and at one airport it was great, bright enough, toned down from the mod but at another airport it was very difficult to find the runway at all unless you knew exactly where to look and were lined up with the runway. One interesting point, for me anyway, was that he said things would be smaller and dimmer on larger monitors. Perhaps this is why things are worse for me than others as I span mine over 3x 42" screens and another touchscreen.? Anyway, I can tinker with the mod to get things right.
