Help with Radeon HD 6800

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

I have tried DX 10 but my settings are giving blurry images so I reverted to DX 9.

Does anybody has a Radeon HD 6800 with well  working setting?

 Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Pierre

You may be lucky as the author of the DX10 Fixes just happens to have a Radeon video card too and he has some recommendations on his website - http://stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress.com/category/dx10/

My recommendations placed here:  If you have DX9 up and running great with great graphics, etc., the exact same settings for DX10 should work too.  There is hardly any difference between DX9 and DX10 except that DX10 provides a few more enhancements to FSX like white caps on the water in real world weather and shadows inside the cockpit of most aircraft.  You'll also get better performance and FPS.  What DX10 technology cannot do because of lack of sufficient programming by the FSX developers, it will be accomplished in DX9.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jim
