Anyone noticed this?

I started FS2004 the other day, and loaded up Fabrizio Beretta's 734 panel, only to find a number of the gauges (which rpeviously have worked) were not displayed.Upon further testing, I have established that for some reason, FS is only displaying .gau gauges cprrectly, but refuses to display XML gauges.I suspect the reason in somewhere within the Windows SP2 updates, which contain new security settings which impact what windows and IE do with scripts - XML files are considered to be scripted and are therefore subjected to the new security.I have tried disabling the Local Zone Lockdown settings in the registry, which override the setting the user can set in control panel for sceurity but to no avail.Has anybody else noticed that their XML gauges no longer work and has anyone found a solution. Microsoft admit in their SP2 release notes that the opening and running of script may be affected by SP2.RegardsRob

Bump - surely someone must have an idea?Or have we finally found a problem which the FS community is incapable o solving or moving forward?

Its not a problem I have heard of before.I don't have the problem, as I will not install SP2, if it is indeed SP2 thats causing the error.Dan.

Sorry Rob, but I've got XP SP2 and I'm not having any trouble seeing XML gauges.

same here, sp2 and no problems. You mention only one panel however - have you tried other xml based panels, like the default 744 for example?regards,Mark
